God Will Not Answer You Until You Deal With the Flesh | Apostle Joshua Selman | RoarInPrayer 🔥

One of the greatest battles in a believer’s walk with God is the battle against the flesh. You can desire God's purpose for your life, pray for His power, and long to walk in His will, yet still struggle with the desires, habits, and attitudes that resist His leading. The Christian journey requires more than the desire to receive from God. It requires a heart that is willing to surrender to Him and allow His Spirit to lead. In this teaching, Apostle Joshua Selman addresses the importance of dealing with the flesh and yielding to the work of the Holy Spirit. 📖 Galatians 5:16 — “Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” What does it mean to deal with the flesh? 🔥 Surrender your desires to God. Not everything you want is necessarily what God desires for you. 🙏🏽 Stop making peace with what weakens your spiritual life. Be willing to confront habits, attitudes, and patterns that hinder your growth. 🕊️ Yield to the Holy Spirit. Spiritual maturity involves learning to obey God even when your flesh desires something different. ✝️ Choose the will of God over self-will. The goal is not merely to receive from God, but to become a vessel through which His purposes can be fulfilled. God is not simply interested in answering your requests; He is also interested in transforming your heart and shaping your character. The question is not only, “Lord, what can I receive from You?” It is also, “Lord, what must change in me for my life to reflect Your will?” May the Holy Spirit give us the grace to surrender, grow, and walk in obedience to God.
