Pakistan is one of the importers of pulses for it's home consumption.In this video Dr Khalid director pulses is advising farmers to plant mung bean,lentil or maash just after harvesting wheat crop.As per him these are short duration crops which have high demand in local market and just after 65 days farmers can sow other traditional crops without wasting time.These short duration pulses will give them extra income while thses leguminous crops help in restoring fertility of soil also
