Shkodër to Podgorica Day Trip: Niagara Cafe, Mall, & Border Van Crossing Drama

What started as a beautiful day trip from Shkoder Albania to Podgorica Montenegro turned into an unforgettable border adventure! 🇦🇱 🇲🇪 In this 6-minute vlog, we hit the road from Shkodër, Albania, heading towards the Montenegro border with stunning lake views along the way. Our first stop was the incredibly unique Restoran Niagara (Niagara Cafe), where we spent 30 minutes enjoying coffee next to the serene waters, checking out their ancient 1400s-style water mill, and taking in the beautiful interior. Next, we headed straight into Podgorica for a 3.5-hour shopping stop at the Big Fashion Mall, followed by a quick visit to the Hyper Market. But the real drama started on the way back. Facing a massive traffic backup at the border line, our tour van overheated and broke down! Watch until the end to see how we ended up stranded on the side of the road and ultimately had to cross the international border completely on foot to meet our replacement van on the Albanian side.
