SANUR, BALI 4K Walking Tour 🌴 | Morning Walk Around Sindhu, Sanur Beach & Matahari Terbit Beach

Sanur, Bali. Monday, 28 September 2026. Good morning from the Island of the Gods, Bali! 🌴 Today, we’re in Sanur, Bali, exploring the coastal tourist area and taking a relaxed walk along one of the island’s most popular beachfronts. We start at ICON BALI Mall and head north along the coast. Our first stop is Sindhu Beach Market, which has recently undergone renovations. At the moment, not all of the stalls appear to be occupied yet, and some work is still taking place, so the area can be a little noisy in places. We continue north until we reach Sindhu Beach, where we make a quick visit to the Turtle Conservation area to have a look at the turtles before returning to the beachfront path. Back on the footpath, we continue our walk along the Sanur coastline. There are plenty of international visitors enjoying the morning, with many people walking along the beachfront and taking in the scenery. We then arrive at Segara Beach, where cycling is particularly popular. You’ll see plenty of visitors riding bicycles along this part of the coast, and bicycles are available for hire around the area if you’d like to explore Sanur without doing the whole journey on foot. 🚲 Continuing north, we pass the beachfront area of the legendary Bali Beach Hotel before arriving at Sanur Beach. Around Sanur Beach, you’ll find the Le Mayeur Museum, dedicated to the Belgian-born artist Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur de Merprès, who came to Sanur at a time when tourism here was still very different from what we see today. There are also several local warungs around Sanur Beach where you can stop for a meal, including fish head soup and other local fish dishes. We keep walking north and pass Sanur Beachwalk, a relatively new dining area with a collection of restaurants and cafés connecting Sanur Beach with Matahari Terbit Beach. Finally, we finish our walking tour near Matahari Terbit Beach. From here, you can see plenty of travellers arriving from Nusa Penida at Sanur Harbour, which is located just north of Matahari Terbit Beach. From renovated markets and turtle conservation to beaches, bicycles, local food, historic sites and the busy harbour, this walk gives you a great look at the changing atmosphere along Sanur’s northern coastline.
