The Doux One Love Cowash + We Want Easy Leave In Review & Demo // Wash Day Routine and Blow Out Prep For My Type 4 Natural Hair! Expand for more! What’s up beautiful people! So today I will show you how I used The Doux to deep condition and prep my hair for heat styling. Product information and links to recommended videos, products used/mentioned are included below. // WASH DAY ROUTINE + BLOW OUT PREP // In my last video you will see that I used the ORS HAIRepair Scalp Rescuing Detox Line to detoxify my scalp and cleanse (link to that video included below). My hair was super clean but needed some extra moisture. I applied the One Love Co-Wash to my wet hair and worked it into my strands. After distributing it all over my head and detangling I used my heating cap to deep condition for about 30 minutes. After rinsing I applied the We Want Easy Leave in conditioner and braided my hair to begin the stretching process. The braids help me to prep for my blow out by stretching my hair and also getting rid of some of the excess water. When I blow out my hair I mainly use the tension method. The tension method is a blow-drying technique that allows you to minimize the amount of heat and manipulation that you put on your hair. The braids help to further minimize the amount of heat needed and manipulation used while blow drying so it is my preferred method. I love both products but if I had to choose one product to recommend I would choose the One Love Co-Wash. It is such a wash day time saver and it worked really well on my curly coily type 4 natural hair!
