Can $100 still stock a pantry? I decided to find out. In this video, I’m taking a $100 grocery budget and building a basic pantry from scratch using affordable Walmart staples like rice, dried beans, lentils, flour, cornmeal, oats, pasta, canned vegetables, potatoes, onions, peanut butter, tuna, baking basics, seasonings and more. The final total? $99.46. 😳 And depending on portion sizes and how the ingredients are combined, this pantry has the potential to make approximately 70–80 individual meal-sized portions. More importantly, these aren’t just random cheap groceries. I chose ingredients that work together and can be turned into all kinds of simple meals—from beans and cornbread to soups, pasta dishes, rice bowls, biscuits, oatmeal, chicken and dumplings, potato dishes and more. That’s something our grandmothers understood well: a pantry didn’t have to be fancy. It just had to be able to make supper. ❤️ If you enjoy budget grocery ideas, pantry stocking, frugal meals, old-fashioned homemaking, freezer cooking and practical Grandma wisdom, subscribe to Granny Pearl’s Good Sense. We’ve got plenty more worth remembering. DISCLAIMER: Prices shown in this video were researched using Walmart prices available at the time this video was created and may vary by store, location, date, brand, availability and current promotions. The 70–80 meal estimate refers to approximate individual meal-sized portions, not 70–80 complete family meals, and actual yield will vary based on recipes, serving sizes, household needs and any additional ingredients used. This pantry is intended as an example of a versatile grocery foundation and is not presented as a complete or nutritionally balanced diet on its own. 💬 If you had $100 and an empty pantry, what would YOU buy first? Good things still work. That’s just good sense. ❤️ #BudgetGroceries #PantryStocking #FrugalLiving #CheapMeals #GroceryBudget #GrannyPearl
