Why Are NFL QBs Going Back Under Center? | Tom Walsh & Grant Cohn

Why are more NFL quarterbacks taking snaps under center instead of operating primarily from the shotgun? Grant Cohn asks former NFL offensive coordinator Tom Walsh about the shift — and Tom explains what an offense gains when the quarterback lines up under center. From the running game and play action to what the defense has to account for, Tom breaks down why an old-school formation is becoming increasingly valuable in today's NFL. PIGSKIN PROFESSOR Tom Walsh takes you inside the game and explains football from a coach's perspective.
