CDA Action in Islamabad | 8 Buildings Sealed, 3 Hospitals Fined & Poly Clinic Fined Rs 500,000

CDA has taken major action in Islamabad over repeated fire and life safety violations. Poly Clinic Hospital has been fined Rs 500,000 for failing to address critical fire safety deficiencies and has been directed to pay the fine within seven days. CDA has also ordered immediate improvements to the fire detection and alarm system, firefighting equipment, emergency lighting, exit signs and emergency evacuation routes at Poly Clinic. The official communication also references the loss of newborn lives in a fire incident and calls for urgent corrective measures. Meanwhile, CDA has reportedly sealed 8 buildings, imposed heavy fines on 3 hospitals, and sealed hundreds of shops at Beverly Centre as part of its enforcement action in Islamabad.
