EXTREME DIFFICULTY DESTROYS MY LOADOUTS - Escape from Duckov is Insane in 2026

Extreme difficulty 😈 No mods ❌ Mostly unedited and uncensored suffering ✅ First video of series For those who are interested 🔍 Used Steam background recording to capture all footage as MP4 file and upload to YouTube. Mic quality on first two videos was poor, the audio was constantly popping and super quiet. The solution was to: 1. Navigate to Game Recording under Steam settings, disable "Force Microphone to Mono" and "Automatic Gain Control," and enable "All System Audio" 2. Navigate to Voice under Steam settings, max out input volume/gain, leave output volume/gain around half, leave Voice Transmission Threshold on "Medium," and disable "Echo Cancellation," "Noise Cancellation," and "Automatic Gain Control" 3. Navigate to Sound under System settings on Windows PC, then select the Microphone tab to enter Properties, then disable "Audio Enhancements," set input volume to max, and ensure proper format (mine was 2 channels, 24 bit, 48000 Hz). You can google your microphone's ideal format if you know the brand and model. The format must match on Steam if using "Steam Streaming Microphone" option. 4. IMPORTANT - Navigate to Hardware and Sound under Control Panel on Windows PC, then Recording under Sound tab, then select Microphone and enter Properties tab, then adjust Microphone Boost under Levels tab to +30.0 dB 5. Test microphone on both steam and system settings, then restart game if already running. Hope this helps anyone who is getting started with recording their gameplay via Steam 😎 A few tips and tricks for Escape from Duckov (minimal spoilers) ⚔️ 1. Fight the Warden mini boss in the tutorial (run to far right side of tutorial map), it can drop valuable loot for early game and has a chance to kill itself with grenades if lured into hallway 2. Consider not healing every time you take damage, save bandages for bleeds if possible 3. Consider saving reward items from quests, they are often needed for a craft or later quest 4. Consider upgrading the companion pouch so you don't have to risk quest items early game 5. Fading Feathers are used to trade for totems at a cultist circle in the lower section of the home base, which is accessed through a trap door on the top right side of the starting room.
