MEMO Webinar Why Canada

What makes Canada a migration destination? What does choosing Canada actually mean in today's changing migration landscape? Join the MEMO Webinar Series for an engaging conversation exploring why migrants come to different provinces in Canada, how opportunities and expectations shape migration decisions, and how these experiences unfold after arrival. Drawing on insights from the MEMO project, this webinar will shed light on the migration drivers, challenges, and decision-making processes that shape contemporary migration journeys to Canada. The Complex Migration Flows and Multiple Drivers in Comparative Perspective (MEMO) project is a six-year international research initiative (2022-2028) examining the factors that shape migration across South/Southeast Asia (Bangladesh, Nepal and Malaysia), West Africa (Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal and the Ivory Coast) and the Americas (El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico) and Canada.
