2026 Factory Gun Nationals - 39th Carry Optics w/ PSA Dagger -

Finally made it to my first USPSA national event. This was a spectacular match. The stages were great, the staff was great, and the heat showed up to compete. With two full super squads and nearly 100 GM's, this match was stacked. I trained really hard for this match. I put a lot of energy into this. While I don't feel like I performed well, I believe my finish was well deserved. In fact, performing at an above average level in large/important matches can create a sense of imposture syndrome that is difficult for me to shake. The performance I put down here is something I feel I could do on demand. Goals accomplished: Complete the match with no major incidents. Shoot 90%(or more) of the available points. Lastly, I wanted to make sure that I got reps using practiscore to "race" with other similarly skilled shooters by watching live scoring updates. Goals failed: Top 20. I wanted to be undeniable for consideration of next year's B super squad. 95% finish. Unfortunately, USPSA hasn't passed the HFI adjustment for major matches to be properly converted to classifiers.
