This was a surprisingly fun game. The credits are so short that the development team had to be tiny making this even more impressive of a game.
The game is heavily dark souls influenced and has some of the same mechanics: dodge rolls, parries, weight limit and more. It pulls these off well and introduces a class/skill tree system that allows for a lot of variation. The lack of map was a big gripe but it did force exploration which over time felt better and easier.
The only failing is the music for the game, or rather the lack of it. Large portions of the game have no score and most of the bosses all share one theme. This is not a major flaw and only distracts a player when they notice the lack of noise.
Overall the game is not too salty and I wouldnt mind another playthrough soon.
8/10.
