Revelation 18 - Babylon's Final Fall

Babylon's fall was announced back in chapter 14 — in Revelation 18, it finally plays out in full. This episode of The Bible in Small Steps walks through one of the most vivid chapters in the whole book: a funeral dirge for a fallen empire, sung by the very people who profited from her sins. I break down the three parallel laments in this chapter — kings, merchants, and seafarers — and why none of them actually mourn Babylon's evil, only what her fall costs them personally. We also dig into the merchant's inventory list, nearly thirty luxury goods ending deliberately with human souls, and what that says about any system built purely on profit.
