When my marriage ended, I wasn't only grieving the relationship. I was grieving a whole future I thought I was going to have. The ordinary days, the holidays, the inside jokes, the person I assumed would be sitting beside me when we got old. This video is about that grief: the kind that has no photographs, no memories to put in a box, because you're mourning moments you never got to make.
You'll hear what it actually looks like to begin again quietly. Not a cinematic montage. Dinner for one. Figuring out what you actually like. Making plans without automatically saying "we." Learning that a life can be meaningful while it's still under construction, and that rebuilding isn't a finish line. It's just a collection of very small choices, made one at a time.
If you're in a season like this, drop a word in the comments and let me know where you are. And if you want to go deeper into what this next chapter can actually look like for you, check out my Second Half Strategy Call link below. I'd love to sit with you in it.
