Warrior training and the killing sword-James Williams sensei

This is part of a class that I taught, please forgive the background, on Nami ryu and warrior training. There is much that is misunderstood as we redefine events and practices from a context completely different than the one that classical martial arts were developed in. In the modern world our Samurai are those in the military combat arms. And just as in feudal times there are levels of skill and proficiency. One note it would be more correct to call kanji logographic.
