Union Pacific Big Boy with Sound & Diesel Assistance | N Gauge Model Railway

In this week's model railway update, I finally run the sound-fitted Union Pacific Big Boy with the diesel locomotive I bought specifically to accompany it. The result is an impressive American excursion train complete with steam sound, diesel sound, water tenders and excursion coaches. I explain how the Big Boy operates in real life with diesel assistance, why the E-version locomotive is considered a more environmentally friendly variant, and how I have speed-matched the locomotives for realistic operation on the layout. You'll also see the full excursion consist crossing the trestle bridge, negotiating the reverse curve, and running as a multi-locomotive American heritage-style train.
