Alice In Chains - Rooster 18 months prior to release

Probably the first ever (live) performance of Rooster. Jerry Cantrell had just written the song while temporarily staying at the Seattle home of Chris Cornell and his wife (AIC manager) Susan Silver for a few weeks in early 1991. This video is from the Off Ramp Cafe in Seattle and recorded on Feb. 01, 1991. Rooster was recorded in the studio during the spring/summer of ‘92 for the Dirt album, which was released on Sep. 29, 1992. The subsequent single and video was released in Feb.1993.
