2007 Stanford at USC

This is the 10/6/2007 Stanford at USC game. Stanford was coming off of a 1-11 season which was their worst since a winless season in 1960. Jim Harbaugh had been hired to rebuild the program. Harbaugh was a well known player but was just getting his feet wet as a coach. USC was a dynasty at this time. They were undefeated and a national favorite to win it all. Stanford was 1-3 coming into a game at USC. That included an 0-3 Pac 12 record that consisted pretty much of 3 blowout losses. Stanford was a 41 point underdog but the unbelievable happened. It touched off a rivalry that went to all levels of football between Jim Harbaugh and Pete Carroll.
