A town changes colour on a map. What has actually been established?
Learn to read legends, distinguish presence from control, check recording dates, trace sources and understand why maps disagree.
All map and timeline examples are fictional and schematic. Archive footage is illustrative, not evidence for these examples. Military footage is attributed to its issuing source; recording dates and locations have not been independently verified. This is not a current assessment of Ukraine's front line.
