Then I Remember | A Worship Song Inspired by Psalm 103

Sometimes we forget. We become focused on where we are now, the questions, the struggles, the things we still don't understand—and forget how many times God has already carried us through. Then I Remember is a Scripture-inspired song based on Psalm 103 and the call to remember all that God has done. There have been nights when we couldn't see tomorrow. Times when we felt broken, weary, or unsure of the way ahead. But when we look back, we can often see something we couldn't see while we were walking through it: God was there. How could I not sing After all You have done? How could I not praise You For the battles You've won? When I look behind me, I can see Your hand. So with all that I am, Lord, I'll praise You again. Psalm 103 begins with a simple reminder: “Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits.” - Psalm 103:2 (NIV) Sometimes remembering what God has already done gives us strength for what we are facing today. And when I forget... I'll remember again. Songs for the Soul | Quietude in the Word Lyrics written by Keith Dunn © 2026 Keith Dunn.
