Best State in Australia for International Students? PR, Jobs & Cost Reality 2026

Which is the best state in Australia for international students in 2026? 🇦🇺 Sydney/Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Tasmania — how do you actually decide where to study? In this video, I explain how I would choose an Australian state based on your course, career opportunities, graduate jobs, cost of living, PR/regional considerations, transport and lifestyle — instead of simply following an education agent, university ranking or PR rumours. We’ll cover: • Is PR really harder in Sydney or Melbourne? • Does studying in a regional area mean easier PR? • Perth & Adelaide — what does “regional” actually mean? • Big cities vs smaller cities for job opportunities • Best approach for IT, Marketing, Nursing & other courses • Are smaller Australian cities actually cheaper? • Can international students cover tuition through part-time work? • How to shortlist the best 2 Australian states for your situation I also share one of my own biggest study-abroad mistakes. I chose Melbourne and Monash University partly because I gave university rankings too much importance and ended up spending more than AUD $80,000 on my master’s. In my own Australian private-sector career, I later found that practical skills, experience, communication and results often mattered far more than I expected. This is Episode 1 of my Study in Australia series. Episode 2: How to Choose the Right University & Course in Australia — coming next. 💬 Comment below: Your course + approximate budget + the 2 Australian states you are considering. I may analyse some of your situations in a future video. ⚠️ This video is based on my personal experience and general information. It is not personalised migration advice. Always verify current visa and migration rules through official Australian Government sources or a registered professional. #StudyInAustralia #InternationalStudents #Australia #IndianInAustralia #AustraliaPR
