Watch in HD We departed Denver at 6:30am for Trinidad, Colorado to intercept Amtrak #3 to begin our chase south. We arrived into Trinidad with about an hour to kill before Amtrak's arrival, so we gassed up and waited. After getting them coming into town, we jumped over to the tiny town of Starkville. After the Raton stop, it was fast running south towards Springer and the first set of semaphores north of the siding of Colmor. Thankfully, slow orders were in effect which made chasing much easier on us. The weather wasn't the greatest as a monsoon weather system slowly made its way into New Mexico, which eventually caused flash flood warnings, but nothing too serious. At the end of the day, nine semaphore locations were captured and it was a successful day. Locations in order: Starkville, Colorado Robinson (south of Springer), New Mexico Valmora (north of Watrous), New Mexico East Chapelle, New Mexico West Chapelle, New Mexico Watrous, New Mexico Wagon Mound, New Mexico West Levy, New Mexico Robinson (south of Springer), New Mexico
