WNBA PLAYERS ARE INSANE!! - Bubba the Love Sponge® Show | 10/02/2026

Caitlin Clark left Game 3 with blood in her mouth. Lexie Hull got dragged to the floor. The Indiana Fever got eliminated anyway. Thursday night in Las Vegas was supposed to be a winner-take-all playoff game. It turned into another chapter of the same argument: how physical is too physical, and why does it keep landing on the Fever? Early in the game, Clark shoved former teammate Brianna Turner out of an Indiana huddle. Offsetting technicals. Turner and Hull then got tangled in the paint, Hull went down, the foul was called on Hull, and Stephanie White picked up a tech for arguing it. Late in the fourth, Clark went up for a rebound, Jewell Loyd’s arm caught her in the mouth, and she came down bleeding. No foul. Clark showed the ref the blood. Her answer after the 94-83 season-ending loss: “Your guess would be as good as mine.” This is not a new story. Clark has been hip-checked, hit in the face, and had a fist driven into her throat since she walked into the league. Alyssa Thomas got suspended after the fact in June. A lot of the other stuff never even gets a whistle. Fans say she’s being hunted. Players say it’s just basketball and she needs to toughen up. The refs keep ending up in the middle of it. The guys break down the Turner shove, the Hull takedown, the bloodied no-call, White getting T’d up, and whether the WNBA is protecting its biggest star or letting the rough stuff become the product.
