Lithium Ion Battery blunt Impact - causing thermal runaway

As with previous video with penetration of a lithium ion battery, this time we demonstrate blunt impact of a lithium ion battery. Such demonstrations for our students, show the effects of these batteries when involved in impact or fire as part of a motor vehicle collision at the roadside.
