THE LION KING 3 - Kion or Kiara? | The Pride Lands Could Continue | Prism Studio DESCRIPTION: #TheLionKing3 #LionKing #PrismStudio THE LION KING 3 — Kion, Kiara, Release Date, Cast & Latest Movie Update The Lion King 3 is generating huge speculation after Mufasa: The Lion King expanded Simba’s family and gave Kiara a much bigger role. However, Disney has NOT officially announced a third photorealistic Lion King movie, release date, director, cast, production start or official trailer. ⚠️ DISCLAIMER: This video is a NEWS & UPDATE commentary created by Prism Studio. Some visuals are AI-generated for illustration purposes only. “The Lion King 3” is being used as unofficial shorthand for a possible future sequel. This is NOT an official Walt Disney Studios production. Mufasa: The Lion King introduced Kiara, the daughter of Simba and Nala, as an important part of its present-day story. The ending also introduced Kiara’s newborn younger brother, immediately creating speculation that Disney could eventually bring Kion from The Lion Guard into this movie universe. However, Disney has never officially identified that cub as Kion. Another possible direction involves Kovu and the story of The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride, but no Kovu adaptation has been announced either. Disney could continue Kiara’s story, introduce a new version of Kion, reinterpret Simba’s Pride or create an entirely original sequel. Mufasa eventually earned around $722 million worldwide after a slow opening, showing that audiences still have strong interest in the Pride Lands. But commercial success does not automatically mean The Lion King 3 has been greenlit.
