HEADS UP: More water released from Magat Dam in Isabela as volume neared spilling level | ANC

On The Scene: Magat Dam authorities opened more spillway gates on Monday (November 18) in a controlled manner after back-to-back storms pushed water levels near spilling levels. Residents around the Cagayan river basin are advised to be on alert for higher river levels. As of 8:00 a.m. today, the water level in the dam stood at 190 meters above sea level, just a few meters short from the spilling level of 193 meters.
