I found what might be the cheapest S-Works Tarmac on eBay — a 2011 SL3 in Saxo Bank colours for under £200. The same frame Contador and Schleck raced at the 2010 Tour de France. I built it up entirely from the parts bin and took it out into the Peak District to see if a 15-year-old race machine still has it.
