Using 1980s Detergent in a 1980s Washing Machine

I purchased these unopened and sealed retro detergents from eBay a few weeks ago. Wisk Liquid Detergent and a free sample of Comfort. Surprisingly still usable, even if the conditioner was gloopy. Washing a Christmas bed throw on Programme 5 - 40ºC Non-Colourfast Cotton. Amazingly the detergent enzymes were still active and the Conditioner still smells strong, in fact it smells better than anything on today's market.
