Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus and the rest of the Peanuts gang are back once again after not being seen since eariler this year during Easter. And this year is a big one for the comic strip as it celebrates its 75th anniversary this year. As well as the 60th anniversary of the 1st ever Peanuts special ''A Charlie Brown Christmas'' Now we are traveling 25 years back to the year 2000, when the world received shocking news that Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz passed away on February 12th (2 days before Valentine's Day that year) at the age of 77 after losing his battle to colon cancer. And on top of that, he suffered a heart attack in his sleep and was also going through colorectal cancer as well. Poor guy. His death was a painful one due to him being well-loved. And to honor his legacy, Paramount Home Video & United Feature Syndicate decided to release a Peanuts special on video & DVD.
