Over the last few weeks, I have been working on getting the beaver to not build up next to the culvert. I need to be able to capture and remove the beavers but need the ideal conditions and structure to do so. No traps are placed yet but still just letting the beaver work up this dam and get comfortable with the environment. By letting the beaver have this dam but regularly punching holes in it for the beaver to fix, I hope that it makes them more trusting and not expect a trap later on.
