WWE 2K26 WCW Monday Nitro | Bill Goldberg vs AJ Styles vs Bam Bam Bigelow

The rivalry between Bill Goldberg and Bam Bam Bigelow on WCW Monday Nitro remains one of the most memorable powerhouse feuds of the late-1990s WCW era. Their encounters on Nitro are defined by two major phases: the chaotic brawls that marked Bigelow's legendary debut in 1998, and their official televised singles matches later in the promotion's run. The 1998 Nitro Arrival & Back-Alley Brawls When Bam Bam Bigelow made his unscripted debut on WCW Monday Nitro on November 16, 1998, he immediately went after Goldberg. Because Bigelow was not technically employed by WCW yet, their initial interactions were booked as uncontrollable pull-apart brawls rather than sanctioned matches. • November 19, 1998 (Nitro): The two giants collided in an infamous "back-alley brawl" that completely disrupted the broadcast. It took over 40 security guards and roster members to separate them as the fight spilled past the 11:00 PM Eastern TV time limit. This massive hype directly set up their marquee singles match at SuperBrawl IX in early 1999.
