Gen X Isn’t Done: We Just Got Squeezed.

Gen X was raised to be fiercely independent—latchkey kids who learned early to keep our heads down, work hard, and figure it out on our own. But as we reach our late 40s and 50s, a lot of people mistake our exhaustion for quitting. The truth? We aren’t done. We just got squeezed. Caught in the middle of caring for aging parents, raising kids, navigating shifting career landscapes, and watching retirement goalposts move further away, midlife has demanded an unprecedented level of resilience. In this video, we break down the real story behind Gen X midlife burnout—and why feeling the pressure doesn't mean you're ready to throw in the towel. It’s not about shrinking your life or giving up on what matters; it’s about acknowledging the squeeze, resetting your boundaries, and deciding how you want to play the next chapter. 💬 Join the Conversation: Where are you feeling the midlife squeeze right now—career, family, or personal goals?
