St. John Fisher University Men's Hockey Team Video

Men’s hockey has joined the thriving athletic tradition at St. John Fisher University. The Cardinals started play in 2025 and have already laid the foundation for success on the ice. Fisher plays in the competitive United Collegiate Hockey Conference taking on several nationally ranked programs. With an impressive 12-win inaugural season the Cardinals already have high expectations. Fisher’s hockey home is the nearby Rochester Ice Center, with a new rink and their own locker-room. Hockey also utilizes the on-campus facilities, from the varsity weight room to the video room. Buffalo native Reid Lesswing was a four-year player and senior captain at Castleton University. He was then an assistant at his alma matter, then Fredonia and most recently at Plattsburgh. Now he’s the first head coach at St. John Fisher.
