Cady Way Trail from Orlando to Oviedo FL. Shot in 4k HDR. April, 18, 2025

Enjoying a bright and sunny Good Friday, I set out from Orlando towards Oviedo, utilizing the Cady Way Trail and the Seminole Cross County Trail. The morning started cool, but the Florida sunshine quickly brought warmth to the air. Perhaps due to the holiday, the trails were less crowded than usual, with only a few people walking and cycling. The Cady Way Trail meanders from the Fashion Square Mall area in Orlando, passing through Winter Park near the high school and the Cady Way Pool. After crossing over Highway 436 via the bridge, the route continues towards Oviedo through Goldenrod. This week, a section of the trail was closed for construction beneath Highway 417. While signage was present near the closure, earlier notification further back along the trail would have been beneficial, allowing for easier route adjustments. Nevertheless, I navigated around the construction and successfully reached Oviedo. Today's ride covered a pleasant 30 miles.
