After some negotiation with the Director of the market, I managed to get them to agree on letting me film, on the condition that I have a security detail with me at all times. Concerned that I might get beaten up or in other kind of trouble, they were adamant that it was necessary, so I agreed and set out to continue my visit with my own personal bodyguard. Amazing foods, and the locals is what makes markets so fascinating to me and this was no exception.
