Y&T - Open Fire (DYESS)

Y&T (Oakland, California) My first record from this San Francisco band was a British import. I became an instant fan, and picked up their next American release, Black Tiger. I was always surprised that this band never become more popular state-side. Lead singer/guitarist Dave Meniketti had a great voice and good looks. I love them here with their stripped-down, hard-rock look. Much better than the hair metal look they would adopt later.
