IG729 Pressol Pro series bottles and new labels from Obsessed Garage

A deep dive into Pressol's new "Pro series" bottles — the German sprayer bottle Obsessed Garage brought to the US a few years back as an openly-labeled beta test, and what's actually changed after a long run of real-world problems. I've got 20 of the original Pressol bottles, and about six of them have failed over the years in one of three ways: a cracked tip that stops atomizing and just dribbles, a plunger popping loose (rare, happened to me once or twice), or a sprayer that just quietly stops working — usually the seals. The chemicals that reliably killed sprayers for me were tar remover, panel prep/APC-type products, degreasers, and wheel cleaners; plenty of other chemicals (interior cleaner, most of my day-to-day sprays) never gave me a problem in the same bottles. Tar remover was also the worst offender for a separate issue: the chemical leeching straight through the plastic and lifting the stickers, leaving a bubbled, "warty" look under the label. The Pro series addresses both problems: a stainless steel tip (watch for a small batch that shipped in regular steel by mistake — a magnet test tells you, and Pressol will replace it), Viton seals, a flexible weighted pickup tube with clips so it stays submerged at any angle, and — the big one — a "fluorinated" bottle material that's supposed to stop chemicals from leeching through and lifting labels. They also released a much bigger black sticker sheet, including several blank stickers for custom labeling, since the original sticker set only covered about 12-14 of Matt's own product picks and left a lot of bottles unlabeled or mislabeled. I only bought two Pro series bottles to test rather than replacing my whole set at once — I put tar remover in one and I'm putting a degreaser/tire cleaner in the other, specifically because those are the two chemical categories that caused me the most grief on the old bottles. Two weeks in, the tar remover bottle and its sticker are holding up well, though that's not a long enough test to call it solved — and there are already scattered reports in the Obsessed Garage Facebook group of some new bottles browning with certain Armor Detail Supply wheel and tire products, so this may not be fully sorted yet either. My recommendation if you're considering these: buy one or two, test the specific chemicals that gave you trouble before, and scale up only if they hold.
