የመጀመራያዋ ክርስቲያን ሃገር ኢትዮጲያ ናት! |ክርስቶስን ንጉስ ብላ ያወጀኝ ኢትዮጲያ ናት! |ዶ/ር መስከረም ለቺሳ |Dr meskerem lechisa |Taza

Dr. Meskerem Lechisa is a scholar and author known for her work on Ethiopian history, culture, and identity. Her talks often delve into deep philosophical and historical topics, drawing connections between Ethiopia's past and its present challenges. She has translated Thomas More's classic work, Utopia, into Amharic and authored her own book, Yetsehay Ketema (which translates to "City of the Sun"). In her discussions and writings, Dr. Meskerem explores the idea that Thomas More's Utopia may have been significantly inspired by medieval Ethiopian Christian civilization, often referred to as "the Land of Prester John." She argues that the laws, customs, morals, and faith of this ancient civilization, particularly under the Zagwe dynasty, provided a real-world model for More's fictitious society. Beyond this connection, Dr. Meskerem uses her book and talks to address what she sees as a crisis of identity and social justice in modern Ethiopia. She compares the country's ancient justice systems, which were even praised by historians like Herodotus, with what she describes as a "perishing sense of social justice" among today's youth. Her work is a call to action, urging a return to the moral foundations and ancient wisdom of Ethiopia to restore a sense of national pride and purpose. She also discusses the importance of education that reflects Ethiopia's rich heritage, including its spiritual and cultural values, arguing that the modern curriculum often fails to do so. 🙏 This message will inspire you to rise above fear, respond to your calling, and walk boldly in obedience to God. 🔔 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more life-changing messages from Dr. Meskerem Lechisa and other faith leaders. #Drmeakeremlechisa #Faith #Motivation #TazaMedia #muse For any copyright issues Please contact me at : officehub15@gmail.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Fair Use Disclaimer: This video may contain copyrighted material; the use of which has not been specifically authorized by the copyright owner.
