Turrican 2 Enhanced V2 - Atari ST and Amiga oh my! (SemaTor)

Turrican II running on SemaTor, an Atari ST translation layer built from scratch. It's not an emulator: there's no TOS ROM and no borrowed emulator code. The original 68000 code runs, with the ST hardware translated natively in C. What the Turrican II profile adds: • True widescreen (16:9 / 21:9) across all 11 sections. The extra view is the real playfield, not stretched. • Enemies, projectiles and collision fixed for the wider view, so nowt pops in or vanishes where it shouldn't. • Reduced slowdown: faster sprite and scenery drawing in busy scenes. Game logic, sound and timing stay original. • ST environment effects: water refraction, sky, and grass that sways and bends as you move through it. • Clean audio: cleaner sampled intro and higher-quality ST sound-chip playback. Original music, effects and timing. • Amiga extras, from your own Amiga disk: Amiga music, sound effects, spoken pickup voices with optional on-screen positioning, and experimental Amiga artwork. • Cheats: infinite lives, no damage, freeze timer, unlimited special weapon, stage skip (F8). • Gamepad: jump on a button instead of joystick-up.
