The Ice Palace looms over Saranac Lake

The Saranac Lake Winter Carnival kicks off Friday, February 6, 2026 with the completion of the Ice Palace, themed with popular cartoon characters to illustrate this year's Cartoonival theme. The festival runs through February 15.
