STYX — THE RIVER DOESN'T OWN ME | Official Anime Music Video

Thirteen pages. Thirteen revelations. One final choice. THE RIVER DOESN'T OWN ME is a dark cinematic journey through the story of Styx, a mysterious grimoire, and the Ferryman waiting beyond the river. Blending nu-metal, alternative rock, rap-rock, and haunting melodies, this song tells a story about confronting darkness, carrying the weight of the past, and finding the strength to write your own ending. Every spell has a price. Every choice leaves a mark. But even the Ferryman cannot decide who you become. 🖤 Watch the full anime-inspired music video and follow Styx through all thirteen pages of the grimoire. This project was a labor of love. Every scene was carefully selected, arranged, and edited to follow the story behind the music. From building the original character and grimoire to synchronizing the visuals with the vocals, countless hours went into bringing this five-minute journey to life. Created using AI-generated artwork and brought together through hands-on editing in CapCut, this music video represents my first major attempt at turning an original song into a fully realized visual story. I'm still learning and improving with every project, but I'm proud of how this one turned out. If you've made it this far, thank you for taking the journey with me. #STYX #TheRiverDoesntOwnMe #NuMetal #AnimeMusicVideo #AlternativeRock
