He began his musical journey at the age of 4 when his grandparents noticed his interest in their upright piano. In high school, Reliford enrolled in the Summer Jazz Workshop, where he discovered his love for jazz. He obtained a Bachelor of Jazz Studies from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas in December of 2020. Now, Dayne works as a freelance musician in the Austin area and has performed with acclaimed musicians including Hannibal Lokumbe, Robin Mckelle, Brannen Temple, Andre Hayward, and others.
