Let’s look back at Hall’s work on the Tuvalu Coastal Adaptation Project (TCAP)! Since commencing the project in 2022, our crew delivered an array of coastal protection infrastructure in Tuvalu to improve the island nation’s resilience to rising sea levels and storm events. The construction program wrapped up on the atoll of Nanumea, where the team constructed a 1.3-kilometre-long berm top barrier, a 170-metre-long Seabee seawall and seven reef-top barriers. Hall is thrilled to also be supporting the next phase of TCAP on behalf of the United Nations Development Programme, the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, by reclaiming an additional 8 hectares of climate-resilient land in Tuvalu.
