When the System Rewards the Wrong Behaviour

October Theme: CHARACTER & PUBLIC LIFE: From Showing Up to Shaping What Happens WEEK 2: WHEN GOOD PEOPLE ENTER BAD SYSTEMS - What do I do when my environment rewards the wrong behaviour? What happens when the environment around us rewards the wrong behaviour? Tomorrow, we begin Week 3 of our October theme, “When Good People Enter Bad Systems,” with an honest conversation about how incentives, workplace norms and pressure can influence the choices we make. Reflection: What behaviour does your environment reward, even when nobody openly calls it a value? Join us tomorrow, 7–8 AM WAT, for The Daily Shift as we reflect on how to hold on to our character when the system pulls us in the opposite direction. The Daily Shift is a free, practical space for professionals across Africa who want to grow in character, practise ethical leadership and create positive change.
