Dear friends, On the last day of 2025, a female friend who had attended the same high school as I did passed away after a serious illness. The permanent departure of this kind, warm-hearted, and thoughtful friend left all of us who had grown up together with boundless sorrow and an emptiness that has never faded. When she departed for eternity, I composed the song "A Bright Star in the Sky" in her loving memory.
