Prašuma Perućica - Primeval forest Perućica

Perucica je prirodni rezervat pod najvišim stepenom zaštite, nalazi se u nacionalnom parku Sutjeska na teritoriji općine Foča u Bosni i Hercegovini. Smatra se jednom od najbolje očuvanih prašuma Evrope. Prostire se na 1434 ha. U srcu prašume se nalazi vodopad potoka Perućica-Skakavac visine 73m. Perućica vojim biodiverzitetom zapanjuje naučnu zajednicu. Ulasci su dozvoljeni isključivo uz najavu,odobrenje i pratnju vodiča nacionalnog parka Sutjeska. Ljudska ruka nikada nije imala utjecaj na ciklus rađanje-život-umiranje biljaka i životinja u ovoj prašumi. U njoj se nalazi veliki broj stabala starih oko 300 godina, a smatra se da je sama prašuma stara oko 20.000 godina. Ovdje se mogu pronaći stabla visoka preko 50 metara, a trenutno najviše izmjereno visoko je 57,4 metra. Do sad registrovano je preko 170 vrsta drveća i grmlja, te preko 1000 vrsta zeljastog bilja, od kojih su brojni endemi. Nalazi se između Maglića, Volujka i rijeke Sutjeske. Njom samo priroda vlada. Čovjek je isključivo gost! Zastićena je još od 1952. godine. It is considered one of the best preserved primeval forewt in Europe. It covers 1434 ha. In the heart of the primeval forest there is a waterfall Skakavac with a height of 73m. Perucica amazes the scientific community with its biodiversity. Entrances are allowed only with the announcement, approval and accompaniment of the Sutjeska National Park guide. The human hand has never had an impact on the birth-life-death cycle of plants and animals in this primeval forest. It contains a large number of trees that are around 300 years old, and the rainforest itself is thought to be around 20,000 years old. Here you can find trees over 50 meters high, and currently the highest measured height is 57.4 meters. So far, over 170 species of trees and shrubs, and over 1000 species of herbaceous plants, many of which are endemic, have been registered. It is located between Maglić, Volujko and the river Sutjeska. Only nature rules her. Man is exclusively a guest! It has been protected since 1952.
