Night Circuits is a 50-minute hardware electronic live session recorded under the Berlin night sky until the weather changed the plan.
The first part was recorded outside in the darkness, beginning with slow ambient textures and gradually emerging sequencer lines. Simple low, mid and high tom patterns and sparse 606 percussion slowly enter the circuit.
Then the rain arrived.
With recording outside no longer possible, Parts II and III continued indoors in the near dark. The second part moves deeper into slow electronica: interlocking sequences, bass movement, 606 percussion and electro drums. The final section reduces the energy again, returning to a more spacious atmosphere while retaining traces of the rhythmic and sequenced structures that developed along the way.
