We Thought Our Building Was ON FIRE! 😱🇲🇾 | Kuala Lumpur & Batu Caves

🇲🇾 OUR MALAYSIA ADVENTURE CONTINUES… AND THINGS GET A LITTLE CRAZY! 😱🔥 Join us, Jake and Alicia, for another few days exploring Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where we go from amazing food and incredible sights to thinking we might actually have to escape a building fire! We start by exploring the busy streets of Petaling Street in Chinatown, before heading over to The Exchange TRX shopping mall and figuring out Kuala Lumpur’s train system. 🚆 Of course, no adventure is complete without food! We head to an all-you-can-eat Japanese-style BBQ, where we cook our own meat at the table and treat ourselves to the Wagyu package! 🥩🤤 The following morning, we grab breakfast at Grumpy Bagels before visiting one of Malaysia’s most famous attractions — BATU CAVES! 🇲🇾 We tackle the famous colourful staircase, explore the caves and get up close with the cheeky monkeys while feeding them! 🐒😂 But things take an unexpected turn the next day… While preparing to sell my old laptop, the FIRE ALARM suddenly goes off in our building! 🚨 We’re alone on the 27th floor, unsure whether there’s an actual fire, and have no choice but to make our way down the stairs!
