Sareak Light Show – Gau Zuria festival 2022

Xarxa is an immersive installation to reflect on the connection between people and the role of communication and modern technologies. The idea is to create a space where spectators feel immersed, connecting their emotions with the music and visuals of the show. The beams of light are the key point of the show, symbolizing highways of connections that connect people. Each person illuminated by a light is connected to others. Xarxa is conceived as an itinerant work and can be installed in any space to make people aware of the space they are in and how they can relate to other people. It was presented in the Barcelona 2022 Smart City Expo World Congress in collaboration with Haus of Color and during the Gau Zuria Festival in Bilbao. For the latter occasion we adapted the name of the installation to the Basque language: Sareak.
