Crap to Cream Pt49, pits inspection, faults found so a fail, minor set back

So I ventured off to the DOT testing station to have my pits inspection done, checking the roadworthiness of the vehicle. Something that is really good to do after a ground up rebuild. Unfortunately, when the drive to the pits is the first drive of any distance some things will possibly appear that you didn't expect, additionally you get caught by the occasional rookie error. The reversing lights was one such rookie error, plus the wiring inside the front wheel arch was a job that I was going to do and just forgot, did one side and not the other. Off fighting bushfires for a week now, so no more progress until I return.
